Ogo Onwugbenu and Fred Oramalu Share Love Story and Pictures

Posted in: , ,

Ogo and Fred celebrated their traditional marriage with family and friends including Genevieve Nnaji in a double celebration with her father's birthday. Ahead of their white wedding ceremony taking place this Saturday 24th August 2013, in London, they share their love story and pictures.

Fred says;

I am Fred, the first son of a large and happy family, and I work and live in Zurich. I love life, and rely on my large social circle in my quest of living life to the full. I was pretty sorted and content with my life in Zurich, until a certain lady from London came and changed things....

Now, I have the luxury of building a future together with my beautiful Ogo (the only woman i know that watches as much football as i do) and I truly can't wait to start our life together.

Ogo says;

I am Eucharia/Ukay/Ogo, a Nigerian expat in London , lucky and blessed to be surrounded by a beautiful caring family, amazing friends, and a wonderful husband-to-be. I live and work in London as a part-time cancer-specialist pharmacist, a very demanding but rewarding job, and part-time wedding planner, a lot more demanding and hopefully very rewarding - I will let you be the judge of that. Lots of love x

ps: i will definitely win (or at least nominated for) the award for the most chilled out bride...

How they met...

We met in Tanzania, in Dar Es-Salam, in a place called CineClub back in October 2011. This was part of holiday in which we both attended our mutual friends' wedding. The place was an outdoor beachfront cafe that was filled with mosquitoes and loud Nigerian music. However, armed with malaria tablets and all sorts of mosquito sprays, one was able to make conversation, and the rest is history....

The proposal...according to Ukay:

You might be expecting a romantic fairy-tale princess story. But this is Fred we are talking about, once he develops an idea, he has to share it with me immediately (at least he gets 10/10 for communication).

To cut the long story short, after a few weeks into our relationship, Fred realized that he cant imagine life without me. Therefore, the decision to tie to the knot seemed natural :-)
