Supermom is a Nigerian TV reality show that celebrates mothers, and the work they put in to raise their children. I was really impressed to come across this edition tagged “Heart of Gold” which spotlights mothers who raised children that were not their biological children but brought into their home through adoption or those who manage orphanages.
Season IV, which started back in June and is ending this weekend, has a prize for the winning orphanage. In the run up to the finale, top celebrities ranging from Mercy Johnson, Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, Vivian Ejike speak about how their mothers influenced them.
