52-year-old Vincent Phillips was set on fire by his wife while he was sleeping for allegedly molesting the couple's 7-year-old-daughter. Luckily, he was able to drag himself into a convenience store where he asked people to call police.
Both Mr. Phillips and his wife, 40- year-old Tatanysha Hedman, of Washington State were arrested.
Tatanysha told police that she set her husband on fire because he sexually assaulted his 7-year-old stepdaughter.
Phillips is facing charges of sex crimes after his wife said that he sexually abused her daughter.
Phillips managed to extinguish the flames and stumbled into a nearby convenience store where he shouted: “I'm on fire,” and asked an employee to call the police.
When police arrived, Phillips said: “My wife did this,” before he collapsed. Hedman is being held in King County Jail on $500,000 bond.
