Is it possible to come back to life after being declared dead? Jahi McMath was not really dead 9 months ago when doctors ruled that her brain stopped working, and against her parent's wishes, got a court order that declared the 13 year old brain dead.
Instead of bowing to the doctors wishes, her family believed she was still alive and took her to another medical facility where she continued to receive medical attention. Now, they have released videos that show Jahi moving following her mom's commands.
They are also pushing to get the determination of brain death reversed. Attorney Christopher Dolan filed pleadings in Alameda County Superior Court Sept. 30, 2014 on behalf of the family.
