International and Ghanaian football player Michael Essien has responded to reports that he contracted the deadly Ebola virus. The false report started by a Twitter handle led to the AC Milan star's millions of fans flooding him with questions on social media. It got to the extent that Micheal Essien has had to deny the reports on both Twitter and Instagram. He shared the above picture as proof, writing;
I'm very fit and very healthy,No truth in the internet rumours that I have contracted Ebola.im well & will be training as usual tomorrow.The Ebola virus is a very serious issue and people shouldn't joke about it.Whoever wrote this article is very unprofessional and insensitive...!!!#Jahbless

Breaking news: Ghana international and AC Milan star Michael Essien has contracted Ebola, his club has confirmed.
He goes ahead to quote AC Milan spokesman, Riccardo Coli as saying:
‘It has come as a big shock to everyone involved with the club but we are optimistic for Essien. ‘He is a very strong person and the Ebola has been caught in the early stages. He’s in experts hands so he should be fine.’
Michael Essien debunked the hoax with his own tweets, saying the real Ebola victims deserve better;
