Police in Milan Italy, have said they had no choice but to remove the giant billboard above and similar ones after drivers who use the very busy road and residents in the area formally complained about it. They told the police that the ads which features sexy models in lingerie were too distracting and a threat to their safety.
This particular billboard which features 30-year-old Argentinian-born model and presenter Belén Rodríguez modeling Italian underwear brand was the one most residents wanted removed first! It has since been taken down. Who else remembers the mobile Boob ad that had to be stopped? See here.
I have only one question, were women also distracted by the billboards, or is it only men that drive? And one could say, the ads were not even meant for the men, after all, it is female lingerie that is advertised, right?
