The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting ready to return to the UK later today but Americans are still gushing over the royal couple.
The couple attended the Brooklyn Nets v Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game in New York City’s Barclay Centre on Monday night, and broke a few hearts when they refused to pucker up when put on the big screen or 'Kiss Cam'.
Prince William and Kate Middleton also met backstage with LeBron James who supposedly broke protocol by placing an arm on Kate's shoulder during the picture taking. No one seemed to mind though. See pics below...
The royals and the basketball player had a little gift exchange and tete-a-tete with the basketball player LeBron James giving Prince William two jerseys, one for him and another for little Prince George.
Prince William and Kate also met with Beyonce and Jay Z at the games last night as millions of cameras popped and many selfies taken. All the action happened during a break in the game, says an eyewitness to E! News.
"Bey and Jay got up out of their seats during the break before the fourth quarter and walked across the court to say hi. Everyone was standing up and gawking. It's a mob scene around them."
During the time-out, [Will and Kate] were put on the Jumbotron. Everyone cheered, but they seemed kind of shy. They smiled and waved. It was cute," and notes that William was "definitely explaining the game to her. He's pointing things out and she's nodding a lot."
