APC Alleges $20,000 Bribe From Presidency To Anti-Buhari Protesters in London

Posted in: ,

APC is alleging that the presidency is behind the plans to stage a protest which is meant to embarrass their Presidential candidate. The All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari is billed to present a lecture at Chatham House, London today titled: “Prospects for Democratic Consolidation in Africa: Nigeria’s Transition”, and it has emerged that a Pro-PDP group is also planning a protest at the venue at the same time.

The APC is showing as evidence, a document detailing how the so-called pro-democracy group has been funded by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The document, is purportedly a memo written by the Assistant Director, Civil Society and Support Groups – Diaspora, Chief Peter Mozie and addressed to the Director, Civil Society and Support Groups, Professor Nick Eze.

At the end of the memo, Mr Mozie put forward and requested for the sum of $20,000 to defray the cost of logistics, mobilisation and refreshments for the protest, and according to Abusidiqu.com, the same amount was approved and have since been delivered to make the protest a success.

The memo is copied to the Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali. Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, a political scientist from Gombe State, is the immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the PDP.

Personally, I very much doubt this memo. There is no date and no signatures?
