Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighodaro met on the set of Tinsel TV show on which they were both actors, and love bloomed. They got engaged last year, and after their traditional wedding last week in Benin, Nigeria, the young couple had their white wedding in New York, USA yesterday, July 4th - America's Independence Day commemoration.
The groom, who usually rocks his dreads cut them as he starts a new life with his wife. For the wedding, Mai Atafo dressed both bride and groom. Gbenro was wearing a classic ivory tuxedo and low U - shaped double-breasted waistcoat with contrasting black cover buttons, and Osas in a figure skimming cream mermaid gown with a beaded top, and long full train.
