The gorgeous American First Lady, Michelle Obama is the cover star and guest editor of the July-August 2015 issue of More magazine. This is the first time a First Lady has guest edited the entire issue of a magazine.

The issue guest edited by Mrs. Obama is focused on the theme "More Impact." The issue encourages readers to have more impact on initiatives launched by the First Lady like Let's Move! and Let Girls Earn. Read the first lady's comments and more pics below..

Sasha and Malia Obama Join President and First Lady For Selma 50th Anniversary

Malia and Sasha Obama joined their parents, President Obama and First Lady Michelle in Selma, Alabama on Saturday March 7th to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, a march for voting rights for African Americans which took place in March 1965.

President Obama led the 50th anniversary of that historic marches across the Edmund Pettus Bridge with his wife Michelle Obama. At the event was also former President George Bush and his wife Laura Bush, some of the original foot soldiers from 1965, faith leaders, and elected officials in Alabama. Michelle Obama Gets Mixed Comments For Going Without HeadScarf in Saudi Arabia

President Barack and Michelle Obama travelled to Saudi Arabia yesterday to pay their respects to the new King Salman following the death of King Abdullah last week. The Obamas were greeted by an armed Saudi honor guard and a military band playing the national anthems for both the US and Saudi Arabia.

While many news outlets reported that several members of the all-male Saudi delegation refused to shake First Lady Michelle Obama's hand, it was only later that it emerged the reason that could be behind their actions.

Yesterday, just before the State of the Union adress by president Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama shared a short Instagram where she was wearing the outfit above. A Twitter user quickly noted that Mrs. Obama was wearing the same dress and Michael Kors jacket worn by Julianna Margulies' character last season on 'The Good Wife.'

Hashtags and memes ensued as commentators compared the designer attire worn by FLOTUS to its on-screen version. Some naysayers also brought up the point that the dress had been worn by Alicia Florrick, the wife of a disgraced politician in the hit TV series.

The first couple spoke honestly and openly with People Magazine about the tough questions America is facing over race in the wake of recent police killings of unarmed black men.

The President recalled a time when he was handed car keys to fetch the vehicle at valet-parking, while he waited outside a restaurant after dinner saying that happens to a lot of black men.

Christmas in Washington is an annual Christmas television special, and this year, the 33rd annual concert, overdid itself. There was the first family, and also famous singers including Rita Ora, to sing the carols. First lady Michelle Obama has made one of her personal campaigns that of getting childhood obesity down using healthy eating as an option. The other avenue is getting children to move more by being more physically active. But it all starts with what goes in the mouth so the first lady has worked with those in education to get the food served in schools healthier.

President Obama, Michelle, Malia And Sasha Stylish In Black For Wedding of White House Chef

President Obama, the First Lady Michelle Obama, Malia and Sasha flew from Washington to New York to attend the wedding of the White House assistant chef and their longtime family chef and close friend, Sam Kass, who married MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Kass began cooking for the Obamas when they lived in Chicago before Obama became president, and in 2009 they persuaded him to come to the White House. Obama even attended Sam's bachelor party last week.

16-Year-Old Malia Obama Now As Tall As President Obama, Taller Than Her Mother

President Barack Obama and the First lady Michelle Obama were photographed with their oldest daughter Malia Obama as the first family walked out of the White House before boarding Marine One, and also when they arrived at Martha's Vineyard where they'll spend their summer vacation.

All eyes are on how tall Malia Obama has grown, and how gorgeous! The 16-year-old is now 6' 1", the same height as her dad the president, and taller than her mother Michelle Obama, who is 5' 11". Malia attended the Lollapolooza music festival alone last week [see pics].

The Obamas Receive President Goodluck Jonathan At the White House

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama took this photo with President Goodluck Jonathan during a session with African leaders at the US-Africa Summit held in the blue room of the White House in Washington DC, USA.

President Goodluck Jonathan also met with the United States VP – Joe Biden and other African leaders at the African Business Forum. The Nigerian president wore a black suit with matching trousers, a red tie and no hat.

Yesterday, the American First Lady, Michelle Obama and Jennifer Lopez were in New York City as guests of the 85th National Convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens' (LULAC), the oldest Hispanic organization in the United States.

Michelle Obama was a speaker at the event and JLo was to give the citation for the First Lady before her speech. The two women hugged on stage and JLo took a selfie which both of them shared on Instagram. Michelle called JLo a friend.

The First Lady spoke on the importance of young people completing their education past high school.

Joan Rivers Says President Obama is Gay, And Michelle Obama a Transgender

I understand about freedom of speech and all that but sometimes lines are crossed, and I think this is one of those times. Either Joan Rivers pleads senility on account of her age or she may be liable for libel!

The TV host of Fashion Police was in New York recently for a bookstore appearance, and was asked some questions about when she had officiated an impromptu gay wedding between two of her fans. The reporter then asked her if she thought the US would ever see a gay president.

Joan Rivers replied: "We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.”

As she started walking away, 81 year old Rivers added: “You know Michelle is a tranny.”

When asked to confirm what she said, Joan Rivers responded: “A transgender. We all know.”

A big part of the recipe for success has to do with nurturing reslience in our children, she says.

"I know I tell my kids all the time that they shouldn't shy away from difficult things, because that is the point at which you are really growing. It's not just about grades or test scores. Today our kids may shy away from applying to college if they think they don't have the right grade or test score.
