PSquare Releases Music Video For Single Ejeajo

Peter and Paul Okoye (P-Square) have released the new music video for EJEAJO featuring US Grammy winning rapper, TI. The song reminds me of the old disco songs of the 80s, catchy tune and very danceable. The video is directed by Clarence Peters and their elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye.

Three new singles from the duo has been released, EJEAJO and SHEKINI, both produced by Vtek; and BRING IT ON featuring guitarist/trombonist Dave Scott and produced by Rudeboy.

Double The Booty - Jennifer Lopez Releases Remix With Iggy Azalea

It seems that even JLo's butt on the cover of her latest single Booty is not selling as many copies as she wants. The 45 year old singer has brought in younger booty to help.

Jennifer Lopez shared the cover of the "Booty" remix with Iggy Azalea on Instagram, with the two women posing in swimsuits and heels to better show off their booty. JLo captioned it only in hastags;

"#jlobooty #aintseenabootylikethissincejennyfromtheblock #doublebubbletrouble #jloiggybooty."

Iggy Azalea raps: "They're begging me to drop down on 'em / But right now Iggy on the top / The last time the world seen a booty this good / It was on Jenny From the Block."

Jennifer Hudson Speaks On Lesbian Rumors, Her Gay Fans And Playing Whitney Houston

Jennifer Hudson, 32, says she doesn't care whether people think she's lesbian. This is in a reaction to public speculation on her sexuality which started more than 7 years ago.

The singer and actress, says in a recent interview that she faced scrutiny again after singing marriage equality anthem, "Same Love" with Macklemore and Mary Lambert at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

If someone ever questions or thinks that, I don't care what you think. It shouldn't matter. And I did get that! People were like, "Is Jennifer trying to tell us something?" Hey, I wasn't, but if you wanna think that, it's all right with me. When I got the call (to do that performance), I was like, "Oh my god, I definitely wanna do this. A powerful statement is being made and I wanna be a part of that."

Singer Natalia Kills is publicly speaking out against the bulling of skinny or as she put it, "small framed" women. While she doesn’t name-check Nicki Minaj, she talks about a popular song out there that offensively refers to ‘skinny bitches’.

Nicki Minaj raps in Anaconda, “f*ck those skinny b*tches, f*ck those skinny b*tches in the club.”

I just heard a sad and degrading song that I can't quite figure out if it's a public joke or not.

Why are we publicly deemed "skinny BITCHES" if we're naturally smaller than sz 6? Horrified i'm considered a bitch for not being overweight.

Larger framed women need to stop bullying/victimizing girls with small frames, less voluptuous figures as if they're unattractive/anorexic.

WATCH - Beyonce Performs Full Album Receives Video Vanguard Award From JayZ and Blue Ivy

Beyonce and Jay Z put the rumors of imminent divorce to rest at the MTV Video Music Awards last night after the couple kissed and appeciated each other as Jay Z and Blue presented Beyonce with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.

He called her “the greatest living entertainer” and she called him "my beloved". Beyonce was crying as she took her award from her husband and her young daughter. She said;

“I have nothing to say, but I’m filled with so much gratitude,” Beyoncé said. “I thank God for this moment. I love y’all so much. Blue Blue, I love you. My beloved, I love you. My fans, I love you. MTV, I love you. Goodnight.”

The part I liked best was Jay Z and Blue Ivy watching Beyoncé perform songs from her latest album, and all the while Blue Ivy was miming her mom's songs and flicking her hands. Enjoy the videos below...

Definitely Not Why God Made Girls - A Response To RaeLynn's Single

A new single from 2012 Voice contestant RaeLynn aims to provide the answer to why God Made Girls, but the lyrics prove to be the opposite of what she calls "girl empowerment". RaeLynn told Taste of Country: "There's just something so special about 'God Made Girls,' it comes from a girl's perspective and there's nothing like that on radio right now."

She sings; "He needed something soft and loud and sweet and proud/But tough enough to break a heart/Something beautiful and breakable that lights up in the dark/So God made girls."

I know some people may think she makes a good point, but come on, surely a woman's purpose in life has to b more than to pretty and hold a man's hand. What of those God made to be not so pretty, or to serve him and be single all their life?

I'll be honest and say it's not really my type of music, but it is very danceable. In the videom Taylor Swift is a Ballerina, a B-Boy and also a happy-go-lucky Cheerleader.

The music video for Sam Smith's I'm Not The Only One is directed by Luke Monaghan and features Dianna Agron as an unhappy wife and Chris Messina as the philandering husband.

Agron’s character must have somehow found out about her husband’s indiscretions but she chooses not to confront him and instead bottles it up within her. When he is not there, she lets loose on the pain inside her, proceeding to uncork a bottle of white wine in the middle of her neighborhood liquor store, drink away her problems, and then eventually set fire to Messina’s possessions.

And as seems accepted in these music videos, she cleans up her tears and her mess, and welcomes him back home at the end like everythings OK. I guess that's the power of love. Count me out, sha.

Celebrity Roll Call As DJ Cuppy Launches “House of Cuppy” in Lagos

After she successfully launched her House of Cuppy compilation mixtape in London, DJ Cuppy today premiered it in Lagos, Nigeria.

The event, strictly by invitation, was a roll call of all the media personalities and music celebrities, including Munachi Abii, Sasha P, Toke Makinwa, Naeto C, Eku Edewor, Dr. Sid, Tiwa Savage, Fade Ogunro, Tania Omotayo, DJ Caise and more.

The dress code was “Classy” and I think the guests understood the meaning of that. Check out the red carpet photos.

Identity Theft - Lil Kim Disses Nicki Minaj in New Song But Gets Pushback For Her Facelifts

First, Lil Kim dropped her own "Flawless" remix last week, reminding at Nicki Minaj, who had called herself "The Queen of Rap" on the Beyonce track, that she, Lil Kim, was still on the throne.

Lil' Kim has now released another Nicki Minaj diss track titled "Identity Theft" in which she's calling Nicki out for stealing her style. She announced the single on Twitter with the collage above.

But it is this picture and the artwork for the new song [See below] rather than the song itself that is getting her fans and non-fans unhappy.

Critics on Twitter are pushing back, saying Lil Kim doesn't look anything now like the old images she's using to say Nicki stole from her. And they are asking, who's the identity thief now?

Beyoncé and Jay Z will soon be wrapping up their North America On The Run tour reported to have netted them over $100 Million, and it seems some hangers on want their share of the money and attention.

Liv is a rapper who claims to have been pursued by Jay Z in the past but says she did not accept his offer to be his mistress because she respected Beyonce. The rapper has now released a music video, called, “Sorry Mrs. Carter,” an open letter to Beyonce whom she says came for her first. Really?

Over the beat of OutKast's hit Sorry Ms.Jackson, Liv raps about  how she never expected to be featured in Life and Style magazine after being linked with Jay Z.

Asa Performs New Single Dead Again At Olympia For the Fête de la Musique

In the run up to her new album #BedOfStone out August 25, Asa performed an Acoustic Live version of the single Dead Again at the Olympia Paris.

In the appearance as a headlining act for the Fete de la Musique, she also performs Jailer from her eponymous album and another single, How Did Love Find Me, off Bed of Stone.

I did not buy Beautiful Imperfection, Asa's last album, but listening to these two singles, I've just pre-ordered Bed of Stone. I'm that sold!

Beyonce Sings About Elevator Incident In Flawless Remix Featuring Nicki Minaj

Beyoncé has just released the remix to “Flawless” and again she's looking for trouble like when she changed up the lyrics of Resentment!

This version features Nicki Minaj on the hook, and in one part of the song, Beyonce sings about the incident where her sister Solange attacked her husband Jay Z while they were all in an elevator together. She sings;

“Of course sometimes shit go down when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.”

Even with all that, I don't think this version is as good as the original where Beyonce featured Chimamanda, the lines in this remix from both Bey and Nicki are just too rad :)

2Face Idibia’s “The Ascension” Makes It to Billboard World Albums Chart

Less than two weeks after the official release of the 2Face Idibia's “The Ascension”, the album has just made it on to the universally acclaimed BillBoard World Album Charts. This is major achievement for an African artiste, and a big feather in 2Face's cap.

The album premiered at Number Twelve (12) on the charts under the "World Albums" category.

If you were in Nigeria in the 90s you will certainly remember Daddy Showkey. He brought Ajegunle to our screens and a new rugged kind of music and dance steps. It’s been seven years since his last recorded album Take Five, and now Daddy Showkey is planning a come back.

Daddy Showkey is in the studio with Chidinma Ekile working on a single and to promote it, the still awesome looking singer released these new pictures from a recent photoshoot.

How those dreadlocks have grown, they are just giving me life right now! And who knew Daddy Showkey could clean up so foine? LOL...
