Posted in: , ,

In what could possibly be a mix-up, Rihanna joined in cyberbullying a teenager who had made a prom dress inspired by Rihanna's stylish jumpsuit to a high profile event. The prom was hollywood themed and sixteen year old Alexis Carter was a big fan of Rihanna, though maybe not anymore.

Rihanna in Bantu Knots Wins Big at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Posted in: , , ,

Rihanna won big at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, and she was famously rocking her hair in Bantu knots. The singer went home with four gongs - the award for Best Hip Hop/R&B Song Of The Year for Pour It Up, Best Fan Army, for her Rihanna Navy, Song Of The Year for Stay, and Artist of The Year. I loved Stay and still play it on repeat many times. Congrats to her, and her bantu knots look great!

She also talks about old friends, her new TV show, and where her fearless attitude really comes from. See more pics and an excerpt below.

Rihanna's Blue Lips - Something You May Wear Yourself?

Posted in: , ,

Rihanna was in London some days ago to launch the Rihanna for River Island SS14 collection, and for the party, she wore blue lipstick and a black see-through shirt. Funny enough, no one is talking about the shirt as they would usually do, all eyes are on Rihanna's blue lips.

What do you think, are other shades of lipstick other than red and pink making a comeback? I know such colors as blue, black, purple, etc.. were more common when I was uni. Would you wear blue lipstick?

Watch the SVU Episode Inspired by Chris Brown and Rihanna

Posted in: , , ,

The NBC series, Law & Order: SVU, frequently draws inspiration from real life for a lot of their episodes, and have portrayed the DSK rape case, illegal guns entering the US black market through the CIA in Mexico, among others. In this, their latest episode, the theme is domestic violence based loosely on Chris Brown and Rihanna and the pre-2009 Grammy incident that became a media circus.

On the show, Caleb Bryant’s character plays CB and Micha stands in for Rihanna. The plot not only name checked them, in addition to the male character having the same initials, it also referenced a photo of the battered female singer and Caleb wearing a bowtie for one of his TV interviews just like Chris Brown did.

Loads of the music star's Twitter fans have condemned the show and how the storyline played out. I wrote my own review here. Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together, it's left for them to make it work for better rather than for worse.
