#Elvis80 Celebrates Elvis Presley at 80 Years Today - See Iconic Kiss Picture And More

Elvis Presley, who some refer to as "The King of Rock and Roll" would've been 80 years old today if he had lived. To celebrate this milestone, fans are honoring the music legend who died in 1977 - at the age of 42 - with pictures from his greatest years.

The June 30, 1956 photo above shows "The Kiss" at the Mosque Theater in Richmond, Va. The photograph is included in the book, "Elvis and the Birth of Rock and Roll, " by author/photographer, Alfred Wertheimer, published by Taschen. UTS reports that the image is "Wertheimer's most iconic photograph, and the identity of the woman was unknown until she came forward in 2011".

Folorunso Alakija At 63 - Shares Pictures Of Her Childhood And Life Through The Years

Mrs Folorunso Alakija at 63 has been married for 38 years to her husband Mr. Modupe Alakija and they are blessed with four sons and several grandchildren.

Folorunso Alakija emerged the richest woman in Africa in 2012 with a career that spanned years as a fashion designer, before she went into the oil business, becoming the Executive Vice Chairman of Famfa Oil and Gas Limited.

Worth an estimated $2.5 billion, she has increased her philanthropy through the Rose of Sharon Foundation, which caters primarily to widows and orphans. Folorunso is also an author of three books launched on her 60th birthday in 2011 - an autobiography, and books on marriage counselling and philanthropy.

I already had the dress, which I often wore as a top to tights or jeans, the shoes, accessory and the hair. But she provided the makeup and put it all together. At the photographer's studio, she provided moral support as the guy reeled out model instructions - "head to the side, strut it, flaunt it, head up, hands bent, etc."

I love you sis, and I can honestly say, this was the picture that got Atala across seven oceans and seas to come get me. #trueword. Since then, I know it's quite important to sometimes not be so grown up and serious. You can also either be young and carefree, or you can bring the sexy!
