Catholic Church Bans Sign of Peace Greeting And Communion on Worshippers’ Tongues
To check the likely spread of the Ebola virus, the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has announced new procedures for worshippers at Church Mass.
The measures were contained in a directive by the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, His Eminence, John Cardinal Onaiyekan, and include the administration of the Holy Communion on the palm of the faithful as against placing it on the tongue of the recipient.
It also calls for the stoppage of hand shake by worshippers done during consecration of the Holy Communion as sign of peace.
The Final Dose Of Experimental Ebola Drug Will Be Used To Treat Spanish Priest
The Spanish priest, Miguel Pajares, who got infected with Ebola while working in Liberia will be treated with ZMapp.
The drug arrived at Madrid’s La Paz-Carlos III hospital where the 75-year-old missionary was being treated in isolation, the health ministry said in a statement late on Saturday.
According to reports, the dose sent to Spain for the priest is the third and final dose of ZMapp available currently. The company says more doses will only become available in 2015.
Some people on social media have already pointed out that it seems unfair that African's request for the drugs were denied after the initial two doses of the experimental drug was also used on two Americans infected with Ebola.

First Ebola Virus Victim - Patient Zero Has Been Identified as a Two-Year-Old Boy In Guinea
Researchers tracing the Ebola virus back to patient zero think that they have identified him, a two-year-old boy who died on December 6, 2013. The toddler fell ill while in a village in southeastern Guinea called Guéckédou.
This small village is like a three nation intersection, as it sits on the border of Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. All three of these places have been heavily effected by the Ebola virus outbreak.
Scientists think that because the disease started in Guéckédou, it had an easy entry path into the three nations in West Africa that have suffered so many deaths between them.
There have now been 1,779 cases of Ebola reported and 961 people have died from the deadly disease.
