The Outgoing Governor Was Spendthrift & Insensitive The Poor Ekiti People - Fayose

The newly sworn in governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has slammed his predecessor, Kayode Fayemi, whom he says spent about N3billion upgrading the government house.

Governor Fayose says the previous governor spent at least N100million for his bedroom and his wife's as the beds in there worth 30 and 20 million Naira respectively.

Ghanaian Wedding! Actress Naa Ashorkor Marries Fiance After 7 years Together

One of my favorite Ghanaian actresses, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has married her boyfriend of 7 years, Ahuma Cabutey Adodoaji. The couple had their traditional wedding two weeks ago at the bride’s family home, and the white wedding held over the weekend.

The couple met in 2006 on her first day of lectures at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, when the groom was then in his final year, BN reports. They have been together ever since.

Congrats to them and wishing them more love.

Feyisayo Mojisola Oyetade, aka Faycol, a popular singer in Abeokuta died on Tuesday October 14th, the same day as planned for her 8-day-old baby’s naming ceremony. Feyisola had her wedding earlier this year, in May 2014, while in her first trimester.

This is so sad, coming on the heels of another birth related death of Kemi Omotoyinbo, read here, a popular dancer, choreographer, who died during childbirth, exactly 20 days after her wedding.
