So Sad: Singer Who Got Married In May Dies On Day Of Child Naming Ceremony
Feyisayo Mojisola Oyetade, aka Faycol, a popular singer in Abeokuta died on Tuesday October 14th, the same day as planned for her 8-day-old baby’s naming ceremony. Feyisola had her wedding earlier this year, in May 2014, while in her first trimester.
This is so sad, coming on the heels of another birth related death of Kemi Omotoyinbo, read here, a popular dancer, choreographer, who died during childbirth, exactly 20 days after her wedding.
The cause of Feyisayo's death has not been confirmed as she was said to have collapsed suddenly during preparations for the baby naming. She was rushed to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lantoro, Abeokuta where she was said to have been “brought-in-dead”.

There seemed to be a ray of hope when she was however taken to a church for prayers and was reported to have opened her eyes but was in a coma for a while before she finally gave up the ghost. The deceased singer was the only child of her parents and she has since been buried at the Sagamu Local government Cemetery.
The singer was married to her producer, Abayomi Oyetade who shared some of these photos from the couple’s wedding.
May her soul rest in peace and her family comforted.
