Rock your Curves - Omotola, Mercy Johnson, and Toolz

I was doing some blog rounds the other day when Atala looked at my screen and did an imitation of a whistle. He was looking at this picture of Omotola Jalade, and asked if her backside was for real. I looked at his popping eyes and laughed assuring him that it was.

So, this post is an ode to curvy women. If you've got it, flaunt it. That's what Dunni in the book I'm currently writing does, and I tell you, Babs her love interest, definitely can't keep his eyes, or his hands, away.

If like me, your figure has the makings but is not really a coke bottle or an hourglass, be proud of what you do have. I promise you, everyone will still say you look good, if you carry yourself with enough confidence. Patapata, use Victoria's Secrets and Body Magic to create some wonderful illusions. I do think the ones below are real, if just a bit photoshopped. :)

    LOL you're so right Myne!!! Be proud of what you have. I have always dreamt of waking up 2 sizes larger around the hips... I wouldn't even mind if I had a flatter bottom as long as those hips can pop a little bit but hey... can't do nothin' abt it so flaunting the little bit I have... in my big large katfan ankara dress... and my scarf. It's gonna be a long day...

    Those curves na wa o, it is quite sexy on them....funny l prefer my shape the way it is, l admire it.on other ladies but don't want it.lol it is too much and will make one look huge.

    i love skinny women, but my heart is with full body curvy women..... it just races my heart so much that my blood turns my skin to a warmer shade of dark brown.... there is truly something beautiful about beautiful women.

    The curves are great when accompanied by a small(er) waist like these are. Not every body's fat distribution works out this way. *sighs* We should all be content with what we have, I guess.

    Females! I so love us! Despite the wonderful and unavoiadably honest jealousy, we still accept us the way we are (by faith of course.) But really, i wonder if that time would come when some of us really look at us and say "Damn! Or Glory to God! I love this body!

    I'm not as curvy as Omo-T but very much okay with a flaaaaat tummy. Worst still, i have this bad habit of eating late. Thanks to good genes and Mother nature, i'm neither fat nor chubby. But i still wish (at times) i had the body of some of my cousins!

    We are all dark but their's is more shiny. Asides their (3 of them) long hair, they are slightly curvy with well shaped nose,eyes,nails and lips(pink) When we got talking, i realised they envied my flat tummy and my annoying oily face! Ever since, i have learnt to appreciate every part of my body.

    So having said that, please who knows OmoT,Ini-Edo or Mercy J's diet schedule? I want me some pound of curves!..lol

    I have so learnt to rock mine! I must confess though, that the lusty looks make me wanna scream sometimes. It's also hard to know who really knows loves you for you (what's even the meaning of that, do men really have a pure love like agape for women? Methinks, no matter your spirituality, man to woman's love has some lust in it.) Anyways, if you have it, flaunt it. Good thing about curves is that you can cover it all up and still look sizzling hot!
