Share Your Wedding Photos With Your Favorite Movie Monsters

Posted in: , ,

Are you wondering like me what is terrifying this couple and their bridal party and got them on the run? It is a giant dinosaur, you'll see the leg if you look closely, or you can check out the full image below. It seems the latest fad for wedding photographers is to photoshop movie monsters into wedding photos with the full approval and co-operation of the bride and groom, of course.

The photo was taken by J. Quinn Miller in Baton Rouge, LA. According to i09, Miller had "been friends with the groom for a long time, and he knew the groom "loves dinosaurs." And a few days before the Lowders' wedding, he saw a similar shot of a dinosaur photobombing a wedding and "loved the concept" — but he felt he could do a better job with the photoshopping. And he felt it was "something I hadn't seen done a lot." So "I put it to the groom, and he thought it would be a fun thing to do."

When the day came, they didn't have a lot of time to take photos, but they did one try of having all the guests run towards the camera, figuring "If it works, it works." Says Miller, "We got them to run at the camera, and I got a stock image of a dinosaur and put it in." He was lucky to get one perfect shot of the wedding party, and the result is what you see above."

See the original wedding photo on Facebook.

Another photographer jumped feet first into the challenge, saying on his blog of the wedding photo below, "There was a shot floating around the internet last week of a bridal party being chased by a dinosaur. It’s funny, admittedly. So here’ s our take on the idea…mostly because Leslie (and us) are huge Star Wars nerds! We couldn’t resist their bridal party getting chased by a squad of Imperial AT-AT Walkers! lol."

And one last teaser to end it all. Or was this how it all started? What do you see in this first picture below? Keep looking, or jump to the last one for the clue :)

Now you can easily spot the T-Rex Dinosaur in the photo above :)

Sweet or Wacky?
