If you're a fan of the Bachelor series on ABC, you may remember Gia Allemand who was a contestant on Jake's season, she also appeared on Bachelor Pad the year after that. Gia did not hook up in any of those shows, but later started dating a basketball player. However, she still battled with personal issues and a couple of days ago, she attempted suicide. Gia was on life support for a couple of days but had just been reported dead today from "a serious emergency medical event."
Her family released a statement saying, "While in her residency in New Orleans on Monday night, Ms. Allemand was found by her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Ryan Anderson, following an apparent suicide attempt."
I remember Gia as the smallie with the widest smile, it's such a pity that she's gone. I hope she has found peace.

"I'm deeply grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends and fans. Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile. She had such an amazing impact on my life and anyone that knew her was blessed. All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together and help perpetuate the many values, faith and love that we shared."
