Honey Boo Boo's Parents, Mama June and Sugar Bear, Break Up

Posted in: , ,

Mama June and Sugar Bear Thompson, who star on the hit TLC reality series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, have gone their separate ways according to E! News. The pair said in a statement;

"Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y'all for your support."

The two never technically married but in May 2013, they exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in front of their children, showing off their love for each other [see pics]. June said at the time.

"Never settle for a man who doesn't treat you right. If a guy doesn't love everything about you, move on! There are plenty of other fish in the sea."

The pair's relationship is one of the major storylines on the popular reality show, which is filmed around their rural hometown and features child beauty pageant star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson as well as her three sisters: Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, and Anna "Chickadee" Shannon.

E! News has also learned that the Boo Boo family matriarch has stopped wearing her wedding ring after she discovered Sugar Bear's surfing on online dating sites.

On one particular profile, which seems to match Sugar Bear's description and appears on the website plentyoffish.com, the reality star, under the handle Georgiafighter31054, writes "i love to hunt fish and ride 4wheelers and have a good time.  i luve muddy Boggs and love to ride in the mudd." He also says that his longest relationship has lasted "over 10 years" adds that he is currently single.

We've also been told that Mama June plans to take the kids and move out of their Georgia home in order to be closer to her relatives once the latest round of filming for the reality show is complete.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's season four finale aired on August 14. Wishing the family all the best during this difficult time.
