Charlie Sheen Splits From Ex-Porn Star Fiancee Who Took His Name Before Marriage

Charlie Sheen 49, and ex-porn star Brett Rossi, 25, got engaged on Valentine's Day and a few months later, she took his name as they prepared for the wedding. Unfortunately, the former Two and a Half Men star has ended the engagement saying he needs to focus on his children.


In a statement via his publicist, Charlie Sheen tells Us Weekly:

"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She's a terrific gal, but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together. I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best.""

Charlie Sheen had been married three times previously - to Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996, to Denise Richards from 2002 to 2006, and to Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011.

Charlie has two daughters, Sam, 10, and Lola, 9 [with Denise Richards] and 5-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, [with Brooke Mueller]. In addition, he has a daughter, 29, from a relationship as a teenager.

Brett Rossi, who wanted then to be known as Scottine Sheen had told Us Weekly magazine back in May that everything was "amazing" between her and Charlie Sheen, and that was why she had decided to take his last name before they were officially married.

"The best thing about our relationship is the communication and honesty we share with each other. I've never had a relationship like that before, nor has he. So it's really great. Even though we aren't married, I still go by Sheen as my last name. I don't want to go back to Rossi since I'm happily divorced, and it's pointless to go back to my maiden name since my last name will be changing again soon anyway...Everyone already calls me Scottine Sheen. It's different, considering we aren't married yet... But we basically are."

Too bad it didn't work out. I wonder if she had done the official change of name and the whole nine yards. I hope not, that would be so depressing, just thinking of changing it all back. I hope for her sake it was an informal social name change only.
