A woman had been arrested in the Dominican Republic after airport officials noticed some capsules inside her stomach which turned out to be $70,000 in cash!
Along with the cash in her stomach and intestines, she had almost the same amount of money hidden in a suitcase she was carrying.
According to ABC News, the 40-year-old woman arrived in the Dominican Republic on a flight from Brussels.
The tightly packed bills were said to be rolled into capsules which she swallowed before she got on the flight. The money was divided into 16 capsules and is likely tied to the drug trade.
Dominican authorities say this is the first time they have arrested someone who was smuggling money in their stomach.
SMH... some people can be so creative with the wrong things.
