Stevie Wonder has now put paid to the rumors which have been circulating online for the past few weeks. Gossip tabloids claimed that Stevie Wonder and his girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy were expecting triplets, which would bring the number of his children to 11. Stevie Wonder has denied that this is the case.
Chatting with Whoopi Goldberg on The View yesterday, Stevie said that he and his partner are only expecting one child.
“Whoopi, it’s so hard for me these days. That’s why I’m going on the road. I’ve got how many- 22 kids? But actually it’s not true.”
“The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter in December… And like I said in the song‘Superstition,’ ‘When you believe in things you don’t understand, you suffer.”
“So, you know, that’s a bunch of a bull.”
Stevie Wonder is 64 years old and has eight children, with five different women, the oldest being 39 years.
This is his second child with girlfriend, Tomeeka, their first is just over a year old. Before they started dating, Wonder was married for 11 years to a fashion designer with whom he had two children. He and his ex-wife filed for divorce in 2012.
