Kaley Cuoco On Not Being A Feminist, Cooking For Her Husband And Her Fake Boobs

Posted in: , ,

Kaley Cuoco who last year got married to her husband, Ryan Sweeting has joined the ranks of female celebs who distance themselves from feminism. The actress also made the news recently for signing a $1million per episode deal with the prooducers of “Big Bang Theory” and becoming one of the highest paid actresses on TV.

In an upcoming, February 2015, issue of Redbook magazine which the  actress covers, the 29 year old says she doesn’t consider herself a feminist because she’s never had to deal with inequality. She also talks about getting fake boobs, and learning from her nude photo leak.

When the magazine asked her if she considered herself a feminist, Kaley Cuoco replied;

“Is it bad if I say no? It’s not really something I think about. Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around … I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that’s because I’ve never really faced inequality.”

“I cook for Ryan five nights a week: It makes me feel like a housewife; I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I’m so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him. My mom was like that, so I think it kind of rubbed off.”

Cuoco-Sweeting also opened up about the breast implants she got several years ago but never directly addressed. She said;

“I had no boobs! And it really was the best thing ever! I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn’t about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy.”

On earning $1Million per episode on Big Bang Theory,

"All I think about is what it means for my family…and knowing there is security for all of us.  My parents spent 16 years hauling my butt to LA for audition after audition. Every day they were helping me learn my lines, dropping me off, waiting for me, picking me up, giving me pep talks when I didn't get the jobs, taking me to tennis and horseback riding lessons. I remember always hoping I could help take care of them because they took such good care of me.  Knowing I'll be able to just brings tears to my eyes."
