Bobbi Kristina: Family Releases Statement, Says Cops Found Drugs in House

Posted in: , ,

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still unconscious but there may be more hope for her. Sources close to the family said the swelling on Bobbi's brain has been reduced and she has been able to "move her eyes" as oxygen levels have increased significantly.

Though doctors fear she may have suffered neurological damage after being under water for between two and five minutes, the sources say medics have recorded four times more oxygen in her brain than they did on Sunday.

Her family have also broken their silence and released a statement on Facebook.

"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that police found drugs in Bobbi Kristina's house in further searches of her home after the near drowning on Saturday.

TMZ reports that over the weekend, cops went back a second time to search the house. The first time they went they found nothing, but they went a second time and seized several items.

Cops will not confirm they found drugs, but family sources tell TMZ authorities told the family that is indeed what was found.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... they believed from the beginning Bobbi Kristina ended up face down in a bathtub as a result of drugs.

As for why cops didn't find anything during the first search, law enforcement said they were only looking for items that were "out in the open." The second search however was more thorough.

In addition to finding the drugs, police are looking to question her husband Nick Gordon. Nick was the one who found Bobbi face down in a filled bath and gave her CPR before she was rushed to hospital and put on a ventilator.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found by Nick and a friend, and police have now revealed the person with Gordon at that time was her former boyfriend, Max Lomas. Officers want to find out what led to the two men arriving at the house in Roswell, Georgia when they did.

Police also want to know how much time there was between Bobbi falling unconscious to her being found and paramedics being called. They have not ruled out a suicide attempt.
