How Would You Feel if a Guy Proposes to his Girl at Your Wedding? Sad, angry, jealous, or just happy for them? An online controversy has been fuelled by this picture of a wedding guest proposing to his girlfriend during the wedding of their friends, and right in front of the couple.
Many think the bride was trying hard to mask her anger, as there is a general rule not to upstage the bride at her own wedding. Personally, I think she looks happy for her friend. Do you see anything wrong with the proposal?
The woman who got proposed to in the picture, said the idea was suggested by the bride ,who happens to be her sister so they could share their special moment with the family. Megan told Daily news;
“My fiancé told her he didn't want to ruin their day and she insisted it would only make it better! The groom of the wedding actually held my engagement ring the entire trip! Everyone in the Reddit picture knew the proposal was going to happen except for me!”
The picture went viral after it was initially uploaded on Reddit by an unnamed user, and has been viewed a staggering 1.36million times.
The person who shared the photo deleted the account after many commentators slammed the engagement for being disrespectful to the wedding couple.
