Lola Reacts To Peter Okoye Breakup Reports - Joke’s On You Enemies of Progress!

Earlier today, rumors spread like wildfire that PSquare's Peter Okoye and his wife Lola Omotayo may be having a social media meltdown after both of them shared pictures of other people as their crushes. Peter went as far as tagging his post, #NowSingle&Searching. Many read that to mean the couple had broken up. Seems it was all a joke, probably a late April Fools prank.

Lola has just posted a meme photo which reads, “KEEP CALM & LAUGH LIKE CRAZY” with the caption, “Hahahahaa…..joke’s on you! Enemies of progress….you wish! #tongueout#enemysolo #solidasarock!” She also shared the picture below of her daughter Aliona with her cousins - Paul's son Andre and Jude's baby girl.

All The Okoyes Unite In AndCo For Father's Burial

All the Okoyes turned out in their town over the past few days for the burial of their father who died last November. The service of songs and funeral ceremoney held Thursday and Friday respectively, see photos.

On Wednesday, Mary Okoye, the younger sister of Jude, Peter and Paul Okoye of PSquare, got married to Nollywood actor, Emma Emordi in Asaba.

That day, the pictures released by the brothers was of only Peter Okoye and Lola his wife at the wedding. [see here] As it turns out, all the brothers and their wives were at the wedding and reception.

For His Number 1 Family - Peter Okoye Gives Reasons He Was Absent at Brother's Wedding

Peter has continued sharing pictures of himself as not involved in his elder brother Jude's wedding, causing some of his fans to question his loyalty and priorities.

While he had previously kept quiet, he has now replied to some of the queries on social media. For those that outrightly insult him, he has BLOCKED them.

In his replies to the criticisms, Peter says his "number 1 family for now" is the one he built. He defends his actions by pointing out that a parent has to cater more to his children than his siblings, asking, "which blood is thicker than the 1 of my children?"

No one is sure yet that Peter Okoye and his wife Lola were not present at his elder brother Jude's wedding to Ify Umeokeke. We may just later find out he was, and this is another PR stunt.

But Peter has been sharing pictures of himself travelling and chilling in a hotel with friends. And that has caused some falling out among his fans, some calling him to order and others defending him.

Peter Okoye of Psquare has just bought three guitars, one adult-size for himself and the other two kid-sized for his son and daughter - Cameron and Aliona. 

I guess he wants to encourage them to follow his footsteps in music. He says he would have bought one for his wife Lola Omotayo too, but "if she has to play, she'l need to cut off her nails".
