Chimamanda Adichie, award winning writer, has been happily married to Ivara Esege, a medical doctor, for several years now. She describes him as Nigerian, American and British, and they divide their time between Nigeria and America. Chimamanda is a self proclaimed feminist, and while most Nigerians have a distorted view of the word, and the opinion that feminists are man-haters, that is of course not true. Fiona Amuzie emerged the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in the 2010 pageant and as the winners are always encouraged, she set up a charity organization close to her heart, named the Fiona Amuzie Organization against Trafficking In Persons and child labour (FOTIP). Fiona also left her school back then [University of Jos] to continue her education in the UK. She is currently about to round off her course in Psychology at Coventry University UK.
