Delta PDP candidate Ifeanyi Okowa wins
PDP governorship candidate in Delta state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has been declared winner of the state governorship election. Senator Okowa pulled a total of 724,680 votes to defeat his main opponent Chief Great Ogboru of the Labour Party, who pulled a total of 130,028 votes.

29 states participated in the governoship elections yesterday and so far about 10 states have their official results announced. In Oyo Ajimobi has made history as the very first governor to be voted in for a second term due to the popular saying that Oyo people do not serve one person twice, but Ajimobi broke the jinx pulling in 327,310 to emerge victorious. For Ogun, APC's Ibikunle Amosun who also returned elected. While not official yet, there are reports APC's Ambode won in Lagos State and PDP's Nuhu Ribadu lost in Adamawa State. Singer Omawumi and her husband, Toyin Yusuf are expecting their second baby together. Friends gathered today to celebrate the heavily pregnant mummy and she couldn't help shedding tears of joy at the event. Omawumi's bestie and fellow singer Waje, Tiwa Savage, Munachi Abii, Toke Makinwa, Chigurl, Olakunbi and stylist Toju Foyeh were all in attendance. More pics below...

Hillary Clinton has just made her bid for the White House in a video posted to her new campaign website, and it's all about ordinary Americans. The video features a man starting a new job, a young college applicant, a new mother, a young boy, a pregnant couple and a female retiree, among others. Hillary Clinton, who is shown much later in the video is reported to soon begin a trip to early-voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire to start appealing to voters. See the video below...
Sultan of Brunei's Son Marries - See The Bedazzled Wedding Photos
The son of billionaire Sultan of Brunei, one of the world's richest men, got married to his beautiful bride in a bedazzled ceremony at the royal family's palace in the Brunei's capital. The Prince is the youngest child of the Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah, and his wife, Queen Saleha, and is second in the line of succession to become the next Sultan of Brunei.
The wedding is taking place over a period of 11 days, and started on Sunday, 5 April, with the royal marriage proposal ceremony. Today, April 11, Prince Abdul Malik, 31, finally appeared with his 22 year old fiancee, Dayangku, and they exchanged vows in front of crowds of friends and family, nobility and foreign dignitaries amid splendour.
Taraba Gets First Elected Female Governor In Nigeria!
Taraba state in northern Nigeria may have just elected the first elected female governor in Nigeria in the person of Senator Jumai Aisha Alhassan of APC! Although the votes have not been officially announced by INEC, she is leading the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Darius Ishaku, in Taraba state by a wide margin.
When announced, Alhassan will be the first elected female governor in the history of Nigeria. Though she is by no means the first female governor in Nigeria’s democratic history, she is set to be the first elected female governor ever recorded.
65 Year Old To Become World's Oldest Mother of Quadruplets
65-year-old Annegret Raunigk, a schoolteacher, is pregnant, and even more jaw dropping than her advanced age is that she is expecting quadruplets, reports MailOnline
German Annegret Raunigk, already has 13 children. Her latest pregnancy was the result of artificial insemination using both donated sperm and eggs. Ms Raunigk, who is in the 21st week of her pregnancy, said she was ‘shocked’ when an ultrasound scan showed she was carrying quadruplets. Her gynaecologist initially mentioned the possibility of abortion.
Couple Love - Governor Ajimobi In Passionate Kiss With Wife After Oyo Election
This is Nigerian old school love in a rare show of PDA brought on by the ongoing gubernatorial elections. According to a reporter at the government house, the incumbent APC governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi received a passionate kiss from his wife after results from the state showed he was in clear lead. If true, he has broken the jinx as the first governor in the state to be re-elected.

Wow, she did it! Remember Tee Morgan, that 42 year old mom of four who runs marathons? I shared her story back in March Here. Above is Tee, Nigerian and proud at the north pole! She shared the picture on her Facebook page with the caption;
Today I raised the Nigerian flag to become the first Nigerian to ever step foot on the North Pole and to run a marathon. Words fail me to express how am feeling. The weather was -41C. I fought really hard to finish this race. I am grateful to God for helping me.

She Survived Breast Cancer, Now Debby Vows To Fight Spreading Liver and Bone Cancer

Debby Osarere was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 4 after she was flown to the US for treatment following a successful online donation drive championed by Nigerian blogs in 2012. Debby was successfully cured of the Breast Cancer in 2013 but because it had progressed so far before the diagnosis, she was soon after informed by her doctors that the cancer had spread to her liver.
Now, with the liver cancer under check, Debby has revealed that cancer has again been discovered in her bones. In her post sharing the news on instagram, Debby shows a video of herself dancing and vows to keep fighting and says she is a survivor. Read the post below and keep her in your prayers...
