valentine's day
Everyone loves something wrapped nicely in a box, on special occasions like Valentine, but could you give something more thoughtful this year? Last year, I was cash strapped and wanted to get a nice present for my boyfriend. I couldn’t deal with the typical valentine day oppression, where a lot of money would be spent to impress people, so I started looking for alternatives. However, It was difficult getting something in the Nigerian market that would match my budget and emotions. After pondering for a few days I had my eureka moment!!! It dawned on me that I didn’t have to follow the herd and buy something I could not afford. I did not have to be bankrupt. Why?
I had found a gift that was quirky, expressive and affordable. Some of you are wondering what I could possibly be talking about. In two words, I found what is called a LOVE CHEQUE.

Ten Things We Should All Do At Least Once In Our Lives
Hilarcl
Life is short. Most of us have a bucket list of things we want to do before we’re too old to achieve them. Not all of us manage to find the time to do them, though. Life can get pretty busy with careers, relationships, and families. But it is important to make time for you. And there are some things in life you really must make sure you experience before you check out. Here are our top ten things we should all do at least once in our lives:
- See A Sunrise - Wherever you are in the world, there is an opportunity to watch the dawn arrive. Witnessing a sunrise is quite a magical experience. It can feel like the air goes still, and it can sound like an orchestra. Find a high hill and sit in a castle ruin, in the branches of a tree, or even just on the dewy grass. For the ultimate sunrise experience, share it with the one you love to make it the ultimate romantic experience too.

What is Cyberbullying?
As the name suggests, cyberbullying is bullying that takes place online. In many cases, bullies are actually doing it more than playground bullying because it offers a degree of anonymity. Bullies are fundamentally cowards - they enjoy shows of dominance over others, but they don’t like doing it where they could get caught.

Sunscreen And Sun Protection: What Is The Difference?
By Sophie Addison
The skin is one of the most important parts of the body, and the importance is even more intense when you factor in keeping up the health and beauty. This is because it is the part that makes up your image and the general measure of your wellbeing. Many people are probably obsessed with getting a glowing and flawless skin.
However, you may never get to enjoy the benefits of a beautiful skin due to factors like smoking, alcohol and the sun, which are capable of causing darkening, drying and wrinkles on your skin and hence render it unattractive. Having a baby can be very expensive, and new parents need ways to save their piggy bank! With baby clothes, formula or baby food, diapers, high chairs and strollers, and more, there are many things new babies need - and that’s after the hospital visits that took bringing your new bundle of joy into the world! Not only that, but there are also unexpected expenses of having a new baby, such as additional trips to your pediatrician for health check-ups and rounds of immunization shots. You can give your baby the care she or he needs without breaking the bank.
Having a new baby means changing your buying habits and lifestyle. Some ways to save with a baby include going thrift shopping for baby furniture, and using regular shampoo and soap rather than what’s marketed as for babies. A good deal of specialty items branded for babies will be significantly more expensive than their “adult” counterparts.
