Y is for Yellow Tulips

Posted in: ,
This year, as spring progresses and the weather starts getting better, we decided to be part of the Skagit Tulip Festival. The festival is more like a pilgrimage by people from across Washington State, the US and even other countries to visit the Tulip fields and admire the beauty of nature. It was a great day and a lovely outing. Enjoy the yellow tulips today, more pictures of red, pink, and moi coming soon.

  2. The field looks gorgeous. There is a God! :)))

My favourite tulips are the ones with 2 shades of the same color i.e. pale and deep orange
    Although I prefer lilies

PS - I love, love, love Spring........

  10. Hello Myne. Found you from Shannon O'D. I can't wait to read your books, because I usually read picture books and MG novels as that is what I write. So your books will be a welcome change. It's lovely to meet you. The tulips took my breath away. I would love to join that festival one day. Sounds like a great time was had by all.

  13. I think the tulip is very graceful flower. thank you Myne these are amazingly beautiful. Flowers just melt my insides, there is something so fragile and feminine about them and yet the manage to thrive in harsh environments.

  14. I love the first and third photos...they're so alluring...I just love the way the blue and gently rolling mountain peaks form a neat backdrop for the yellow tulip fields. Nice one Myne.
