a. Appearance: Does it appeal to you? Is it too busy, or too plain?
b. Layout: Is it difficult to navigate? Is it cluttered, or sparse?
c. Frequency: Does the blogger post too often? Not often enough?
d. Content: Are the posts interesting? Unique? Are they focused, or all over the place?
e. Quality: Are the individual posts too long, too short, too sloppy, or too generic?

ReplyDeleteI like that your blog is bright, this makes it inviting. I like that the sidebars are broken up. I also like the content of your blog and the fact that people can come away with something new.I wondered why your blog archives are underneath? Overall, I like this blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. The archives are on the lower left and not really underneath. I did that because I have the blog contents already by the upper right, and the top ways are also ways to dive into the content.

ReplyDeleteI think the appearance of your new page is great, the colours are great and not intrusive. I think the layout is pretty good - I like the tabs at the top although when I clicked on 'my romance' it was about your books and I thought we were going to get some revelations about you!!!
Your frequency is just right and the content is very interesting to me as it is exposing me to other cultures which I like. The quality of your posts is also very readable but then I would expect no less.
So, as far as I am concerned, please keep up the good work.
I do agree with another comment about the use of ads and I quite understand the need for them and am glad your page isn't stuffed full of them. The ads that are particularly awful are the ones that scroll across the screen which is totally distracting.
Thank you, Sally, and for your understanding too. I think from your feedback, I will change the title of that tab to My Fiction or My books. And disable the scrolling ads too.
