Kate Gosselin stirred controversy once again simply by playing ball games with her children. And playing to win. The mom of twins and sixtuplets is back on reality TV in part one of the two-part Kate Plus 8 reunion special and she's got people talking about her parenting style.
The mother of two teenagers and six 10-year-olds likes to win at games, and it doesn't matter to her that she is defeating her own children, and they have to deal with losing. In fact, that is the point for her. She thinks children have to learn to lose. She said during the episode:
I've got a problem with parents who let their kids win because nobody is going to let me win. And while I'm saying "do your best", "work your hardest", "try your hardest", why am I then, in a fun game, letting her win?
The clip shows Gosselin and her kids;13-year-old twin daughters Mady and Cara, and 10-year-old sextuplets, Hannah, Joel, Leah, Alexis, Aaden, and Collin, playing a game of gaga ball.
Do you agree with Kate Gosselin's sentiments on raising her kids and inculcating sportmanship and competitiveness in them? Do you let your children win all your games together?
