Gabrielle Union is one of the latest victims of what some have called a digital hate crime after online hackers leaked her nude photos online [click here]. The actress has now confirmed the pictures are those she sent her new husband, Dwayne Wade, and they must somehow have been leaked onto the internet.
To find out how this could have happened, her legal team will be contacting the FBI, which has said it is "addressing" allegations of the hackings. Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade released a joint statement saying:
"It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures. I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.
For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes - We send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong."
Earlier today, Kim K was trending on Twitter after her nude pics were released [see here]. The same for Jenniefer Lawrence and Kate Upton once again, click.
In addition to Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Lawrence, here, and Kate Upton, here, and even more celebs like Aubrey Plaza, Vaness Hudgens, Hayden Panettiere, Victoria Justice, Jennifer Lopez, and Leelee Sobieski, are included in the victims of the hacking scandal this time around.
Singer Jill Scott is one of many who has been targeted by hackers and found a few of their private photos making the rounds online. Not surprisingly, she’s quite upset about the situation.
Though Jill Scott has admitted that at least one of photos featuring her in a robe is real, she says the other images making the rounds on social media are fake.
Topless pics of what appears to be super model Emily Ratajkowski and Jenny McCarthy also leaked online today -- as well as nude photos what appears to be Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell.
