Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, was sworn some days ago, and the governor rode to the inauguration in a vintage Mercedes Benz. Some say it is the 1957 model, others insist it is from 1965. The new governor reportedly said he chose the old model as his official car so he could get closer to the poor people in his state.
After the inauguration, the governor threw open the gates to the new government house and invited one and all to come celebrate with him. See photos below...
Remember that the new governor got 1000 pastors, prophets and Imams to pray for the goverment house? I guess after all their prayers, he believes no evil, human or spiritual can near him despite the crowds.
One could say that Ayo Fayose has continued the 'Man of the People' actions that brought him to power. But how does that make life better?
