Bill Cosby Praises Wife, Urges Black Media To Be Neutral On Rape Allegations

Posted in: ,

Bill Cosby has broken his silence again to address the media on all the recent sexual assault allegations against him, and how they have been reported by the press who seem to have taken the women's side and found him guilty.

"Let me say this, I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism, and when you do that, you have to go in with a neutral mind."

The journalist who engaged the embattled comedian in the brief interview explains in the New York Post's Page Six which features the article that she frequently writes for the African-American media.

Bill Cosby also praised Camille, his wife of fifty years. When asked what he thought made his wife stand by him despite all the allegations against him, he said;

"Love and the strength of womanhood. Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love."

Soon after that, Bill Cosby cut the conversation short, explaining, "They don't want me talking to the media."

The only other time that the 77-year-old comedian has responded personally to the claims against him was last month, when he told a reporter before his Florida comedy tour stop that he "doesn't have to answer to innuendos."

Both times, he never refers directly to the assault or rape allegations.

Currently, one woman among the almost 20 who have spoken out against him is taking him to court for his actions. According to her, she was just 15 when Bill Cosby allegedly drugged and then raped her at the Playboy Mansion.

  1. If he is indeed guilty, I hope he gets his just desserts. Arrogant man!
