Former NSync boy band member Lance Bass has made it official with his boyfriend of 3 years, Michael Turchin in a private wedding yesterday, Saturday Dec. 20, in front of friends and family at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
Lance Bass and Michael Turchin met at a birthday in late 2011 and began dating soon after becoming close friends. They got engaged in September 2013 after Lance Bass asked his boyfriend's family for his hand in marriage. The Turchins are Jews but open-minded about homosexuality. They said yes, and their wedding yesterday incorporates aspects of the Jewish tradition.
Before the wedding yesterday, Lance Bass opened up on Twitter to his fans about how much he loved the man he was about to marry.

Of the wedding itself, Lance Bass has said;
"The whole wedding itself is very classy, you know. We wanted to plan something that could last for 100 years. When we show our grandchildren this amazing tape of our wedding, the best wedding video ever, I want them to be able to look at this and be like 'Wow, that stood the test of time.' So we're using a lot of elements in the wedding that are classy and one of those is definitely our first dance.
The song we chose is a song that lasts forever, something that is very special to us. I'm really excited that JC is going to [sing during] our first dance. It is, of course, very meaningful to me. He has the best voice I've ever heard in my entire life. And it looks like he might be doing it as a duet with Kristin Chenoweth.""
Fellow *NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake missed the nuptials as he is currently on tour, but the others, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez were in attendance, and the latter sang with fellow attendee Kristin Chenoweth, for the couple's first dance.
Us Weekly further reports that other guests included AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys as well as reality stars including Lisa Vanderpump, Cheryl Burke, Carmen Electra, and Kris Jenner.
