BTS Photos of Asa's New Music Video For 'Eyo' - Shot In Lagos

International music star, Asa has released the video for her hit single 'Eyo' and unlike most of her other videos shot in various locations outside Nigeria, Eyo is shot in Lagos. The song is off her Bed of Stone album which was released in 2014.

The colourful video, which has the soulful singer combining several great fashion choices with her signature eye pieces, was directed by Meji Alabi for JM production. The video celebrates the lifestyle of the average Nigerian and taps into the nostalgia of fun childhood memories and culture. Check out the BTS photos and watch below...

Asa Speaks On New Sexy Look and Successful Bed of Stone Tour In Europe

RML asked before whether Nigerians were ready for a sexy Asa, read here, and it seems the answer is a big resounding yes, going by the success of her ongoing Europe tour for latest album Bed of Stone. Asa had previously said she found love while writing songs for the album.

In newly released photos, Asa continues with the mature and sexy look. She makes a departure from her usual laid back style in a menswear inspired black pantsuit with a plunging neckline. In another, she is all girly in a white shirt over a flaring full-length azure skirt.

Asa Finds Love And Her Inner Sexy - Can Nigerians Deal?

Asa revealed a few weeks ago that she had found love, read here, or rather love had found her as she sang in several songs off her last album, Bed of Stone. As she promotes the album, she is tapping into her sexy feminine side and some Nigerians are freaking out. On her Instagram page, where she shared the picture above, following one of her naked things, a few people spoke out to say they preferred her more reserved and cleancut image.

Asa Says Real Life Love Inspired Song On Her Latest Album

Singer Asa revealed earlier today that she has finally found love while on the midday show with Toolz on Beat Fm 99.9. She said because she previously felt lonely and wanted to feel loved...., she had to drive 18 hours alone from Nashville to New York to  get inspiration for many songs on her latest album, Bed of Stone. She said that now, its a different story.

When Toolz asked if she has now found love, Asa said, "Yes, I have and I am very happy and I guess that’s what inspired the song, ‘How did love find me?" When Toolz inquired further to ask if the guy was a Nigerian, Asa said, "No he’s not a Nigerian, I won’t say more than that".

Asa Gets Standing Ovation At London Concert‏

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian musician, Asa, sang her heart out in Union Chapel for an extremely rare London concert. For a show that was long overdue it was far from disappointing.

Hitting the stage at 8:45pm on the dot wearing a beautiful dazzling playsuit, her signature dreads cut in a flattering bob style and funky fresh glasses, Asa looked stunning.

Asa Performs New Single Dead Again At Olympia For the Fête de la Musique

In the run up to her new album #BedOfStone out August 25, Asa performed an Acoustic Live version of the single Dead Again at the Olympia Paris.

In the appearance as a headlining act for the Fete de la Musique, she also performs Jailer from her eponymous album and another single, How Did Love Find Me, off Bed of Stone.

I did not buy Beautiful Imperfection, Asa's last album, but listening to these two singles, I've just pre-ordered Bed of Stone. I'm that sold!

This is from the "BEAUTIFUL IMPERFECTION" album which I have and listen to quite often. I really don't think this is the best video for the song though it makes sense in a quirky way. Still, it's not bad. Tell me what you think.
