21-year-old Sophia Adams, with 32JJ Breats, has beat thousands of other competitors to win the Star in a Bra competition, run by Curvy Kate lingerie company, which makes lingerie for women with D-cup breasts or larger. By winning, Sophia gets a trip and photoshoot in Portugal​, a year long modelling contract with Bridge Models​ and lots of Curvy Kate lingerie.

Sophia Adams works for the Metropolitan Police, London, and admits she had to overcome self doubt to even enter the competition. Miss Adams, who went on to beat nine other finalists in an online vote, will now join Curvy Kate's line-up at their summer shoot and become a representative of the company. I confess that I've never heard about hot water being a factor in the sagging of breasts or otherwise. This comment came in under the Women are better off without bras [read post].

Fortunately for me I have small breasts so I go about without but there is a question I would like to ask, how hot must a bathing water be, does hot water have effect on breasts?

When I was younger, the debate on having perky breasts was centered more around how often one wore bras, whether men fondled or suckled the breasts, and how much one wore wrappers tied around the chest. Of course it went without question that once a woman suckled a child or two, most of the perkiness flew out of the window, and some old women were quite proud of their flat and sagging breasts.

So in all of this, where does the effect of hot water come in?

Apparently, we women have to forget everything we ever knew about bras. If you think bras support your back, give you a better posture, or prevent your breasts from sagging, you may have to think again. The researcher in charge of a French study, has published his results, and they suggest that "wearing a bra does nothing to reduce back pain, and the chest supports actually cause increased breast sagging."

According to Rouillon, a sports science expert, the lesson to be learned from the preliminary results of his marathon experiment is that "bras are a false necessity".

"Medically, physiologically, anatomically - breasts gain no benefit from being denied gravity. On the contrary, they get saggier with a bra," [Source]

Again like most studies like this, there are limitations in sample size and selection. All the women involved in the study were aged between 18 and 35, and even Rouillon acknowledges that his less than a thousand group are not a representative of the global population of females. So if you're over 35 and live outside of France, this may not be applicable to you.
