First daughter Malia Obama was spotted in Chicago last weekend for Lollapalooza, the music festival that takes place annually in Grant Park. She even stayed for the festival’s final act to see Chance the Rapper perform with R.Kelly.
Several festival-goers pointed out on Twitter how they saw and and asked Malia to take a picture with them but she declined, stating she wasn’t allowed to take pictures.
Along the line however, Malia defied orders and became a typical teenager!
Maybe Malia was not too happy about the tight rein the service service guys had on her, but for wahtever reason, she later broke that rule for Sarah, who took the selfie with her below. She is laughing in the picture and seems to be having more fun too, lol...
Malia has made headlines recently for doing an internship as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s TV show Extant, and also for attending her high school’s prom with a mystery date.
It's cool how her parents are keeping her protected but not tying her to their apron springs. The teenager sure is having lots of fun for her sixteenth summer!
