The ex, Jon Koppenhaver, who is himself also a porn actor and MMA fighter known as War Machine, is currently in jail awaiting trial for the brutal assault. Last week, he tried to kill himself after leaving a suicide note which has now been obtained by TMZ.
According to the report, Jon's suicide was stopped by a warden passing by his cell who saw him trying to strangle himself to death.
In the suicide note found among his belongings after he was taken away for medical attention, Jon talks about the night he attacked Christ Mack and apologizes to his supporters.
He also leaves messages for his family and friends, telling them to think of him as their strength in their weak times, and urging his only brother to continue their family line.
War Machine is facing 32 charges - including burglary, kidnapping, attempted murder and rape.
