With the list of nominations for the 2015 Grammys announced so far, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has scored a win even without winning any of the categories she was nominated for including Best Urban, Best R&B performance and more.
The good news is that all those nominations mean she now has the most Grammy nominations of any female artiste ever. She had previously been tied with country singer Dolly Parton at 46 nominations each, but this new one put her over the edge.
And the Hollywood Reporter adds that since the full list is still rolling out, she could possibly earn a couple more before the end of the day.
In terms of most Grammy-nominated artist overall, she's currently tied with producer David Foster for seventh place. But the 2015 Grammy nominees haven't been revealed in full yet — with one more nom, she'll move past him, too.
As for wins, Beyonce has won 17 so far. But given the quality of Beyonce, don't be surprised if that total changes at the 57th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 8.
UPDATE
With the final Grammy nominations announced during the CBS broadcast of “A Very Grammy Christmas” concert yesterday, Beyonce has become the most-nominated artist in Grammy history with 52 nominations.
Congratulations, Bey!
