Funmi Iyanda Honors Governor Fashola With Valedictory Change-A-Life Show

Posted in: ,

The annual January 1st Change-A-Life TV special took place on New Years Day. This edition was the valedictory show for His Excellency, Barr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), the Lagos State Governor, in appreciation for his consistent support for Change-a-life over for the past 8 years.

The show, as usual, was hosted by Funmi Iyanda, Founder of Change-A-Life, with Mr Dele Momodu, the Publisher of Ovation International as the co-host. The special guest was Major General Olukolade of the Nigerian Army.

This year, the foundation also recognized and acknowledged worthy organizations and individuals for their contributions towards making a change in the society in various areas of focus for the show. Some of these include First Consultants Hospital for containing Ebola in the face of personal loss, and The Tony Elumely Foundation for donating funds for persons displaced by Boko Haram.

In addition, the Foundation launched its social community – The CAL Community - to provide a platform for sharing ideas about changing lives in the society. The CAL Community is part of a new direction for the Foundation going forward in the New Year. See more photos below...
