Nick Cannon and model Jessica White have been stepping out together lately and it's got the tabloids speculating on a romantic connection. Nick's divorce from Mariah Carey is still going through the legal process and according to E!, that is why the new couple are said to be keeping a low profile "out of respect for Nick's family since the divorce is not final."
A source close to the new couple tells E! News that "Jessica and Nick have been friends for some time now," and reiterated that they were "purely just friends" during his marriage to the Mariah Carey which produced their twins, Monroe and Morrocan.
According to the source;
"Jessica fully respected Nick's relationship and would never get in between anything with them. When Nick was going through his breakup Jessica was there for him as a friend."
"Jessica been in the studio lately and Nick has been very supportive with her focusing on her music career and giving her some great pointers and direction as she explores her talents. They been spending lots of time together and Nick really enjoys Jessica's free spirit and easy going attitude for life."
Other reports say Nick Cannon was spotted with Jessica White at a supermarket near his New Jersey home on Saturday after which they spent the rest of the weekend at Nick's house.
Jessica White is a face of Maybelline, and has appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. She has also previously dated Sean Penn, Terrell Owens and music producer Dallas Austin.
I'll believe this when the main parties confirm it, and wasn't Nick Cannon supposed to be dating Nicole Murphy, or was it Amber Rose? LOL...
