According to a reporter at the government house, the incumbent APC governor  of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi received a passionate kiss from his wife after results from the state showed he was in clear lead. If true, he has broken the jinx as the first governor in the state to be re-elected.

Students Caught In PDA at Babcock University To Be Punished - School Memo

Babcock University has allegedly announced the official sanctions for students who engage in Public Display of Affection often referred to as “Dorcassing” by the students, in the university premises.

This is contained in a new memorandum which was obtained on BlackBerry Messenger via a student of the university, and addressed 'To all Students'. The missive says any student who engages in open or inappropriate display of affection such as cuddling – during the day – will have his or her merit points deducted and immediate suspension from the school for a semester.

Actress Says Cops Handcuffed Her For PDA With White Boyfriend, Thinking Her A Prostitute

Yesterday, we told you about Daniele Watts, an African American actress and her white boyfriend who were arrested for public sex [here]. Danielle has now shared her story saying the officers did not arrest, but handcuffed her. She insists they were clearly racist because she was only showing affection, and they were fully clothed.

Daniele and Brian James, who did not mention that they were having sex, shared their story on Facebook. They said they were just having a nice time when policemen approached them and asked to see their ID cards.

Daniele said she protested because she knew she had done nothing wrong, and that was when they handcuffed her and put her in their squad car. Her boyfriend believes they thought she was a prostitute.

This story below is one of those stories that gets about on the interwebs. I received it in my email recently from a friend and tried to find the original writer. It is written by Michael D. Hargrove and titled "Don't Hope, Friend.... Decide!" for the book "A 5th Portion of Chicken Soup for the Soul".

I also found that in their book, How to Make Love Everyday... Guaranteed, Peter Crook and June Crook used the story to illustrate the benefits of public displays of affection in building and sustaining love and romance in a long term relationship, and even it works in building your relationship with your children. I hope it touches you as it did me.

While waiting to pick up a friend at the airport in Portland, Oregon, I had one of those life-changing experiences that you hear other people talk about — the kind that sneaks up on you unexpectedly. This one occurred a mere two feet away from me.

Straining to locate my friend among the passengers alighting through the jet way, I noticed a man coming toward me carrying two light bags. He stopped right next to me to greet his family.

First he motioned to his youngest son (maybe six years old) as he laid down his bags. They gave each other a long, loving hug. As they separated enough to look in each other’s face, I heard the father say, “It’s so good to see you, son. I missed you so much!” His son smiled somewhat shyly, averted his eyes and replied softly, “Me, too, Dad!”

So Physical Touch is not so Important?

Last week I set up the poll asking what people's love language was, and it turns out physical touch was one of the bottom two, and very far from the top, 12 votes to quality time, which had 42 votes. I can say I am a bit surprised. Atala thinks maybe it's because majority of my readers and the poll respondents are women, and probably physical touch is not so important to women.

I'm not so sure about that. Personally, physical touch ranks third for what I want to receive, and second to what I want to give. I was quite surprised at how poorly it did in this poll, at a point, it was at the bottom of the poll with just two votes.

My dear readers, both men and women, do you think women discount physical touch so much? I am comparing this to the knowledge that for a lot of men, physical touch is either number one or two on their priority. Could this be a problem between couples? Or was there a problem with my poll?

The Governor of Delta State and his wife renewed their marriage vows as they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. The wife wore a sorta wedding dress which completely suited her, and the pictres are quite nice, they look serious and happy at the relevant places. The picture of them kissing caught my attention on FB, someone said "ewww...", I say good on them.
