RIP Robin Williams - Dead Of Apparent Suicide At 63

Robin Williams is dead aged 63. Initial reports are citing “apparent suicide” as the cause of his death.

Robin Williams was one of Hollywood's longest and biggest stars.

His publicists released the following statement;

“Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

The actor and comedian battled alcohol and cocaine addiction for most of his adult life and was famously sober for 20 years after going cold turkey with the birth of his first child.

Robin Williams however succumbed to depression and alcohol again though he was able to beat it in rehab in 2009. His reps are saying his recent bout with depression was brought on by overwork.
