The African Player of the Year award is usually the highlight of the African-wide Glo-CAF awards Gala ceremony. Though nominated, Nigerian goal keeper Vincent Enyeama did not win, with that honor going to Yaya Toure.
However, Nigerian Falconets star Asisat Oshoala made the countey proud when she took home two awards last night for 'Youth Player of the Year and Women African Footballer of the Year. Big congrats to her. Above she is pictured with comedian AY at the event. More pics when you continue...
