Bobby Brown has released a statement concerning the rumors of daughter Bobbi Kristina's family coming to say good bye as well as other rumors. A new statement released by Bobby Brown, and shared with CBS News through his lawyer, says such reports are false.

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

The medics told Bobby Brown, who is her clesest relative, to prepare to say his final good-byes to his namesake daughter, 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina, and that it may be time to remove her from life support. The timing could not have been worse, as today is Bobby Brown's birthday.

TransAsia Plane Crashes Into Taiwan River - 23 Reported Dead [Photos]

TransAsia Airways GE235 plane crashed into the Taiwan River earlier today with about 58 people on board, and up to 23 are reported to be dead, with several more injured, including two infants. As more photos from the crash emerge, it has been reported that the small passenger plane clipped a road bridge and crashed into the river. Dozens of passengers remain unaccounted for as the rescue operation in the capital city of Taipei continues.

Terrifying footage of the disaster, filmed by a passing motorist's dashboard camera, showed the aircraft plunging into the water only three minutes after taking off from an airport which was 5km away.

RIP Monty Oum - Viral Web Series Animator Passes

'RIP Monty Oum' has been trending on Twitter after the 33-year-old animator's employer, Rooster Teeth announced his passing earlier today. Oum had been in intensive care since late January after suffering an allergic reaction during a routine medical procedure.

A Go Fund Me page that was set up to help pay for the animator’s spiraling medical costs after weeks in hospital raised over $180,000 for a goal of $50,000. Monty's animated web series had been very popular before his death.

Condolences have been pouring out to Oum's family and his co-workers after the company posted a statement about his death on their website.

Bobbi Kristina Alive But Allegedly In Medically Induced Coma - Let's Pray For Her

Earlier today, it was reported that Atlanta police had responded to a 911 call for Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late singer, Whitney Houston. She was found unresponsive in a tub in her home in a Roswell at about 10:30 a.m. Police say her husband and a friend found her and started CPR before calling 911.

So far, investigators say they have not yet found anything at the home indicating whether drugs or alcohol played a factor. They do not know if her husband Gordon or anyone else was home at the time Brown became unresponsive.

56-year-old Lisa Swinton McLaughlin wanted children more than anything, but died on Jan. 4 from a “bowel obstruction”, just 7 days after giving birth to twin boys.

Lisa McLaughlin lived in Baltimore and was in “significant pain” when she left the hospital and went home on New Year’s Eve. She thought the pain she was experiencing in the days after giving birth was caused by the incision of the cesarean section she’d had.

Ibinabo Fiberisima Says Muna Obiekwe Was Not Abandoned But On Actor's Health Plan

As grief and mourning for actor Muna Obiekwe sweeps across the Nollywood fandom inside Nigeria and in diaspora, read here, a few people are not happy that the lack of funds to sustain his dialysis treatment may have contributed to the untimely death. Muna Obiekwe was one of Nollywood's most favorite actors and his friends Mike Ezuruonye and Empress Njamah were the first to report the news of his death on social media yesterday.

There was some confusion as a fake Twitter account tried to deny the news, but it has now been confirmed by his close family and the Actor's Guild of Nigeria. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Katie McQuestion - a 26-year-old who only just had her wedding last September - is dead from the flu just 4 days after she began to feel sick. The worrying thing is that she got a flu shot to comply with hospital policy and had no underlying medical conditions. Still she caught the flu and developed a serious complication from it: sepsis. She died on Jan. 2.

ABC News reports that McQuestion complained she didn't feel well on a mother-daughter trip to a dress shop on Dec. 29, said her mother, who asked not to be named. The following day, McQuestion was sent home sick from work. Her mother said she picked up a prescription for her on New Year's Eve.

NFL Player Shares Hearbreaking Moment He Found Out 4-Year-Old Daughter Still Has Cancer

Having a sick child can be one of the hardest things a parent has to deal with, and a child being diagnosed with cancer and having to undergo treatment can be very traumatic. NFL player Devon Still has a daughter Leah Still who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer in June 2014, and it has been a terribly difficult journey since then.

The amazingly brave 4-year old has been battling the illness since then and on his Instagram page, the Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle regularly updates his fans on Leah's status. Leah has been undergoing surgery and chemo to help fight the disease and after over six months of this treatment, the family just found out that the cancer is sadly still in her body.

Condolences! Risikat Bola Amole was the proprietress of Bims African Food Store, one of the biggest African stores in London Peckham. She was also the National President of the Association of Food Importers and Exporters. Late Mrs. Amole who is said to have died in her 50s in Ibadan a few days ago owned one of the houses in billionaires’ axis in Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan.

She was described as one of the wealthiest women in Ibadan as well as London where she's based. Mrs Amole was as at the time of her death vying for a federal rep seat for Oyo State in this forthcoming elections.

Nigerian Student Dies In US Police Custody After Domestic Violence Report By Girlfriend

Matthew Ajibade, a 22-year-old Nigerian student in the U.S. was completing a degree in computer science before he died last week while he was in police custody. Ajibade was arrested on New Year's day after assaulting his girlfriend. She called the cops and when Ajibade became aggressive during the arrest, she reportedly told responding officers that he had mental-health issues and gave the cops his prescription bottle for his medication.

At the police station also, Ajibade again fought with the arresting and booking officers and was subsequently charged with "domestic violence, battery and obstruction of an officer.” He was then put in a holding cell where he later died.

Though two sheriff’s deputies have been placed on administrative leave after the incident, Ajibade's family want more answers to his death.

Senator Hope Uzodinma's Ex Dies Mysteriously After He Married Her Friend

Amara Anosike reportedly dated Senator Hope Uzodinma, representing Imo West constituency (Orlu) in the senate until last Saturday when he allegedly surprised her by getting married to her friend, Chioma Ikeaka, a law graduate of Imo State University.

According to SDK, Hope's new wife met him through Amara and began dating him while he was still involved with Amara. At the time she was attending law school in Abuja and their relationship soon turned serious.

Amara had allegedly been in shock since Saturday when the wedding took place, and without any previous illness, she dropped dead yesterday. She will be buried today, Saturday.

Woman Kills Herself And Two Daughters After Finding Out Her Partner Was Cheating

Carlos Pinto, 33, needed to be sedated after his partner Lucia Brum Padilla grabbed their two little daughters and jumped off the balcony of their flat, killing herself and the girls. This happened in Santiago, Chile.

The woman and her two children died after she jumped from the 30th floor of their apartment building while holding her daughters, aged one and two. The woman committed the murder-suicide following a row with her boyfriend, who is also the father of the two girls.

Gunmen attacked the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, 12 were killed, 8 wounded, with 4 in critical condition, authorities say. The CNN report and photos below...

A French satirical magazine's office turned into a horror show Wednesday when three attackers burst in and began firing, killing at least 12 before heading off onto the streets of Paris.

While it wasn't immediately clear who was behind the attack, French officials viewed it as a clear act of terrorism. And there were real fears things could get even worse, with the assailants still on the loose.

"We need to find the actors of this terrorist act," French President Francois Hollande said. "They must be arrested and brought before judges and condemned as quickly as possible. France is shocked today."
